When my travel buddy Riadh convinced me to visit Egypt in the end of 2017 it was clear that we had to visit the pyramides. I have to say, it wasn’t as touristy as I thought. I was really impressed by the actual size and the charisma of these historical world wonders.

This huge turtle is eating the grass from the bay at Abu Dabbab in Egypt, everytime i visited this place the grass is less then the year before. Rising water temeperature and the polution by humans makes it hard to survive for these beautifull animals.
The locals say that many moons ago, a meteor once hit this coast and formed this natural rock pool in its wake. Now it’s filled with the most turquoise ocean water from the Red Sea… Truly a hidden gem in Marsa Alam, and of course, Al-Nayzak means ‘shooting star’ 💫
